Marci Middleton Aldi opened The Dance Experience in July 1998. She had studied dance, beginning at the age of three, at The Wilson Dance Academy. She trained in tap, jazz, ballet, lyric and pointe. She continued her ballet training at The Harford Ballet and trained in modern dance and theatrical dance in college. Also while in college, Marci was a member of the performance dance troupe, Dance West. After graduating college, Marci received her dance educator certification through Dance Educators of America. She has been teaching for thirty years. Marci also went on to become certified as a Focus on Healing Instructor which is a nationally recognized program committing to improving the physical and emotional well-being of breast cancer survivors.
Locally, Miss Marci has been involved in choreographing for pageants, variety shows, high school and middle school competition cheer teams, as well as the televised Channel 3 Joy for Kids Christmas Concert.
Here at The Dance Experience, Miss Marci is focused on assembling the most talented teaching staff an ensuring that all students receive the best dance education. Miss Marci also teaches all levels of dance from Tiny Tot Combo classes through our seniors on the competition team. Her dancers and choreography have won at the national level.
In her free time, Miss Marci is a Workers’ Compensation Litigation Attorney at Zurich Insurance Company. She resides in Bristol with her husband Nick. They are proud parents of Miss Brea, also a TDE instructor, who is in her sophomore year at Sacred Heart University. Emme and Brewster, their Brittany Spaniels, complete their family.
