Amanda has been dancing for 24 years. She received her dance education from Connecticut Dance Theatre & the Arts in Prospect, CT where she studied tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, and lyrical. She took recreational classes and was also a member of CT Dance Theatre & the Arts' Competition Team for 9 years. She has traveled everywhere from Cape May, New Jersey to Nashville, Tennessee for her love of dance. Amanda graduated from Roger William's University in 2016 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education and a Minor in Spanish. She was a member and choreographer for RWU’s Dance Club for the duration of her time as an undergraduate student. She furthered her education at Southern Connecticut State University and graduated in 2020 with her Master’s in Arts in Multicultural, Bilingual Ed & TESOL. Amanda has been a licensed and practicing teacher since 2012, and currently teaches in the West Hartford Public School district. She began teaching dance in 2018 and since joining the TDE Family in Season 22, continues to instruct a variety of recreational classes and also choreographs for TDE’s Competitive Team. Amanda is devoted to the art of dance and is excited to share her passion with her students at TDE for the many years to come!
