Marci Middleton Aldi opened The Dance Experience with Lisa Santiago in July 1998. Miss Marci had studied dance, beginning at the age of three, at the Wilson Dance Academy. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz and pointe. She continued her ballet training at The Hartford Ballet and pursued modern dance training in college. Also while in college, Miss Marci was also part of the dance performance troupe, Dance West.
After finishing college, Miss Marci began teaching dance and has continued to do so for more than twenty-five years. Miss Marci received her dance teacher certification from Dance Educators of America. She also trained and became certified as a Focus on Healing Instructor, which is a nationally recognized program committed to improving the physical and emotional well- being of breast cancer survivors. Locally Miss Marci has been involved in choreographing for local pageants, variety shows; high school and middle school competition cheer teams, as well as the televised Channel 3 Joy for Kids Christmas Concert.
Here at The Dance Experience, Miss Marci is focused on not only assembling the most talented teaching staff, but also ensuring that each child receives the best dance education. This fall she will be teaching Tiny Tot and Pre- level combo classes, TDE Competition Team groups, as well as solo and duo competition pieces.
In her free time, Marci is also an attorney at The Law Office of Eugene L. DeFronzo, PC in Waterbury, CT. She specializes in family law, workers’ compensation, social security disability claims, probate and real estate. Miss Marci resides in Bristol with her husband Nick and daughter, Brea. Brea is an assistant teacher and TDE Competition Team dancer.
