Jillian Connelly has been dancing her entire life. She’s had training in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, funk/hip hop, lyric, modern and acro. She has been taking classes regularly through her early 30s, and still manages to squeeze in a class now from time to time.
Her professional work includes two years dancing at Hershey Park in PA, a back up dancer for Michael Jackson impersonator Joby Rogers, and performing with CBA and Arena Football dance teams in the Hartford, CT area.
She is most proud of the 4 years she spent performing with a song and dance troupe for USO East Coast and a Mediterranean tour for Department of Defense in 1992 where she was able to provide entertainment for military personnel and their families, active and retired.
Jill grew up in CT. She has been married for twenty years and has four amazing daughters, all have danced with TDE. She has throughly enjoyed teaching at The Dance Experience over the last 20 years, and she’s incredibly proud of the hardworking students each and every year. They bring her an immense amount of joy.
